"My husband Patrick
suffered a serious stroke September 2006. He was
hospitalized for one month and was then provided home health
care. As soon as he was able to safely leave the house we
enrolled in therapy with Debbie and Stephanie for 3 weeks.
We were informed
that Pat would require daily naps and most likely would need a
pain reliever (acetaminophen) for his more intensely used
muscles and joints. Pat used TheraSuit training as well as the
traditional cage therapy (with pulleys, immobilizers and
weights). He worked very hard because Debbie and Stephanie
are great coaches who could motivate him. They explained
movements and expected results.
Pat was able
to walk without his AFO (ankle-foot orthosis) after about a week
in therapy. He graduated from a quad cane to a single cane
in his third week. He was also able to remove an arm brace
permanently. His balance and stamina improved, as well as
his mental clarity. All of these accomplishments were
achieved in a 3 week program.
Debbie and
Stephanie are the BEST therapists we have seen. We have
learned so much with them and they continue to educate us each
time we visit them. They are sensitive, caring and
creative personally and in their approach.
The whole
staff is friendly and very supportive and together they have
encouraged us on our road to recovery." - Sylvia

"My name is Barbara and I'm a 58 year old with a stroke that
affected my left side due to an aneurism on Jan 20th, 2007.
After being discharged from the Hospital, I was at a nursing
facility for 6 weeks getting therapy. When I left there, I was
using a wheelchair, but for very short distances and assistance
of another person I could use a walker.
I started the 3 week intensive .program at Crawl, Walk, Jump,
Run Therapy to include the use of the "Therasuit" and the
"Cage". In 1 1/2 weeks, I was in no further need of the
wheelchair, and in 2 weeks I was only using the cane only on
stairs. Upon completion of the 3 week program, I left with no
need for any assistance. I have since enrolled in their
follow-up maintenance program.
My goals were to walk and to use the restroom without any
assistance from anyone, but much more was accomplished in the 3
weeks.
The care and professionalism is above all standards. While doing
my exercises, I would watch them work with children, showing
them how to crawl/walk with assistance something that most of
them had not done before. And with such loving care in knowing
that with their assistance and repetitions they will meet their
goals. It was amazing..........
At 58 years old, I never expected to have a stroke, but thank
God someone told us about Crawl, Walk, Jump, Run. People, both
children and adults with Neurological disorders need a
specialized therapy both PT and OT as provided by CWJR.
Please, if you or anyone you know suffer from any of these
conditions, please give them a second chance.
Thanks for giving me back my life!" - Barbara

"Connor was
diagnosed with a speech and language delay at 18 months of age.
As time went on we found that he also had a large and small
motor delay. At this time (age 7) he continues to require
speech therapy, PT and OT due to a general development delay.
Needless to say, our family has worked with many therapists and
programs throughout the years. We have been extremely
happy with the services offered by the Crawl, Walk, Jump, Run
Therapy Clinic.
Connor has enjoyed
working with Debbie and Donna. As his parents, we have
enjoyed their positive attitudes, energy and caring nature.
Connor has participated in the Handwriting without Tears program
since the Spring of 2006. Since that time we have seen
great improvement in his handwriting. Last summer, Connor
wrote the titles of some of favorite movies and we were able to
read them! The letters were not perfect, but we
were able to read them. Most parents of 6 or 7 year
olds would not find this amazing or worth calling everyone they
know, however, this moment made me cry with joy. Words can
not express how I felt at that moment. The look of pride
and accomplishment on Connor's face was worth more than anyone
could ever offer me.
We have been
on a long road in supporting Connor and helping him succeed to
the best of his abilities. He works very hard to do things
that often times come easily to others. His successes help
him to feel good about himself and his ability to conquer
roadblocks. We have learned as much as he has and are glad
to have Debbie and Donna traveling with us." - Jackie

"Finding you was a
gift from God. When I first brought Michael to see you when he
was, 2 ½ I had no clue what to expect. I was a first time mom
with a child who was diagnosed with developmental delay. I was
scared about the future, unsure about therapy, confused about
the diagnoses, and emotional about the whole process.
With your
guidance, support, understanding, and thoughtfulness I learned
that the diagnoses was not as scary as I initially thought. That
the future had so much in store for my family, and that the
therapy was exactly what Michael needed.
I, in turn,
found that you were exactly what I needed. I needed someone to
show me that everything would be o.k. and that milestones with a
child diagnosed with developmental delay are something to
cherish and celebrate. I needed someone who would care not only
about Michael’s therapy, but about Michael the child as well. I
could have gone somewhere else but I have come to expect the
high level of care that I have only found with you.
Nothing
compares to your involvement and sincerity when treating a
patient. I truly thank God for sending you to me."
Sincerely and Always -
